This year we’re bring the Crimbo Crawl to Sheffield on Saturday 2 December.

With what could be described as our most ambitious one-day route yet, if nothing else there will be good beer and great chat to keep us going through the day.

Starting at 1030 with a pre-crawl gathering at joint ventureĀ The Sheffield Brewing Company/Emmanuales with Nick on hand to show us around the brewery and to answer any questions. Plus there will be ‘Crimbo Crawl priced’ pints for drinking before the tap room opens to the public.

The ‘official’ crawl will start on Kelham Island at the The Fat Cat (1200) and the Kelham Island Tavern (1245) before making our way to Shakespeare’s (1345).

A brisk walk to The Bath Hotel (1500) will take us to something special that is being planned with Thornbridge (full details to follow) before moving on to see what beery delights are on offer at the Devonshire Cat (1700), Sentinel (1815) and the Rutland Arms (1930).

No visit to Sheffield would be complete without a trip to the Sheffield Tap, which we’ll be hitting from around 2030 until we’re all done.

The route, pub details and timings are included in the map below. Many thanks to Jules from Hop Hideout with the route planning, Nick from Emmanuales for opening early for us and Simon from Thornbridge.
