Who’s Punking Who?

With thanks to Matt Curtis for the use of his image

Our latest podblast features deleted content from Hopinions 37 where we were discussing Burning Sky removing their beers from Brewdog bars with Pete McKerry.

It also features a chat with Matt Curtis, who first broke the story to get the background to the decision.

Revisited 05 – Punk IPA

Our original Punk IPA episode is our most notorious for many reasons. Maybe it was that we suggested Brewdog were from Edinburgh. Maybe it was our lack of appreciation for the marketing at the time. Maybe it was Mark’s Scottish accent. Maybe it was that we just weren’t ready to drink the beer.

For whatever reason, this is a beer that is well overdue a revisit and that needed doing properly. So we packed up our recording gear, headed off to Brewdog Shoreditch, bought a couple of pints of fresh Punk and gave it another go…

It’s Beer O’clock. Revisited.

Episode 114 – AB:18

We’ve reached the end of another season and our 6 nations of beer tour concludes with a beer from the Brewdog Abstrakt range, AB:18, an imperial brown ale.

We look back at the shortest season we’ve ever done and pick out our highlights. Plus there’s a bumper news segment, hop topic and a completely self-indlugent #prizelessprize

We’ll be back on 24 July with the first of three summer specials and then back with season 8 on 11 September plus they’ll be some more ‘revisited’ shows to keep you going until we return.

While we’re away you can still access the amazing discounts from our friends online and we’ll be letting you know what we’ll be drinking for season 8 very soon.

You can stay up to date with all things beer o’clock on Twitter or by signing up for new shows straight into your inbox.
