Back in October Steve visited Stone Brewing Berlin for the day and between pouring IPAs into his face all day long, he sat down with Stone Berlin’s Master Brewer, Thomas Tyrell for a quick chat.
Here we go then, my Golden Pints for 2017…
It’s our summer special! Now an annual feature (funny that), and this week with have a double-helping of summer goodness – not only do we review the Magic Rock / Stone Brew Co / Brewdog collaboration ‘Magic Stone Dog’, but we also have the sunny presence of Ian from a funny little place called Ireland and the 11PM Somewhere podcast!
PLUS a special heaping helping of audio from Steve’s recent visit to Brewdog HQ* including an exclusive interview with the founders, James Watt and Martin Dickie.
It’s Beer O’Clock!
*This trip was enitrely funded by the guys at Brewdog for which we are grateful. A number of beer writers, bloggers, vloggers and podcasters were invited up to Aberdeen for the weekend – here’s a handy guide to other reviews currently available following this trip, just click on the links to go straight to the media.
It’s the end of Season 3, and end of 2013 for the Beer O’Clock Show (in audio, anyway!), and we top the season off in style with a much-anticipated ale from US brewer, Stone.
All this, and beery chatter about our Crimbo Crawl, with audio clips from various attendees, and much more – it’s Beer O’Clock! Merry Christmas!
This is my first time with the Golden Pints – I thought it would be quite easy but when you start thinking, and I mean REALLY thinking about each of the categories, it becomes quite tough and a real challenge. So after much thought and deliberation and more than one or two checks of Untappd, here are my entries for the Golden Pints 2013…
It’s Beer O’clock, and time for another trip across the pond. This week, the boys sample Bear Republic’s Red Rocket Ale from Sanoma County in California.
PLUS Steve gets an extra review in of one of his new favourite beers from the Stone brewery.
PLUS!! Steve also gets a chance to talk to one of his adulthood heroes. And no, it’s not Mark…
All this and more!
